Traditional Rug-making Worshop

Are you interested in the Arts and Crafts? Weaving? And a bit of North-East English culture? (and not going to York!) Then join the Cafe des Arts for a traditional rug-making workshop on Saturday, November 17th, in the Seminar Room (the back of the cafe) of Sheraton House, from 2-4PM and listen to a short talk on the cultural context of rug-making in the North East followed by a demonstration of traditional weaving, before audience participation.

There will be refreshments and snacks included, so do come along! Whatever your needle, we will find a thread that fits!
